The Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) is proud to host our annual Harold R. Kemp Family Law Symposium. For more than thirty years, legal professionals including attorneys, magistrates, and judges from across Ohio have attended the Symposium, learning about best practices for family law and ways to provide clients with even better services.

We look forward to hosting more Symposiums in the future and continuing to work with the best and brightest minds in legal education to ensure family lawyers, magistrates, and judges in Ohio have the tools to realize their full potential.

As many of you may know, the OSBA facility is currently under reconstruction and the large CLE conference room in being eliminated permanently.

In this professionalism presentation, Mr. Waterman will provide tips and strategies for how to deal with difficult clients while maintaining your professional demeanor and personal sanity.

Divorce Court: The Untapped Potential of Arbitration

In many ways, arbitration is ideal for family law. It allows a more streamlined approach to litigation, puts the parties in charge of timelines and allows the conclusion of matters with privacy. Ms. Zack has trained many lawyers on arbitration. She and Mr. Nowlin, who has been through that training, will advise on ways to incorporate arbitration into your practice. Judge Fuller will weigh in with a view from the bench.
