Corinne Hoover Six

Attorney Corinne Hoover Six was inducted as a Fellow of the AAML in 2020 after becoming a Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law by the Ohio State Bar Association in 2017. Corinne is a frequent litigator of complex custody matters, high-asset and complex divorce matters, and adoption matters. In addition, Corinne also is an experienced appellate lawyer, handling complex family law appeals in several appellate districts in Ohio, oftentimes on matters of first impression and developing areas of the law. Corinne is a managing partner of her firm, Hoover Kacyon, LLC and the head of the family law practice group. Corinne is also a published author on the topic of family law issues and a frequent lecturer to the Akron Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association and a guest lecturer at the University of Akron School of Law.

Prior to concentrating her practice exclusively on family law matters, Corinne served as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and as a Mayor's Court Magistrate as well as serving as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General.

Outside of her duties as a family law litigator, Corinne is an active member of the Akron Bar Association and several committees and sections and a Fellow of the Akron Bar Foundation and the Ohio Bar Foundation. She also serves as an active member of her church, as CEO of her household and is the biggest fan to her four children in their academic, religious and extracurricular pursuits.
